The Problem: The "Haircut Lottery" Since 2019, Patrick stopped going to the hairdresser. Tired of the inconsistent results and the "haircut lottery," he took matters—and the clippers—into his own hands. But even with a steady hand, the view in the bathroom mirror revealed a clear truth: human error is inevitable, but technology is precise.
Standing in front of that mirror, the idea for SHAIVE was born. Why rely on a subjective eye when a computer can calculate the perfect angle every single time? Patrick realized that for a haircut to be truly repeatable, it needed the consistency of code.
The Turning Point In early 2025, Patrick turned this frustration into his Computer Science Bachelor's thesis. Alongside a fellow student, he developed the first Proof of Concept (PoC). The feedback was more than just encouraging—it was a signal that the world was ready for a smarter way of haircutting.
The Evolution Driven by the potential to disrupt an age-old industry, Patrick decided to take the leap into the world of entrepreneurship. This mission gained its full momentum when Lou joined the team. As a highly motivated co-founder, Lou's drive and enthusiasm are instrumental in making this dream a reality.
